Luke 9:43-44

Mighty Servants of God. Jesus was able to lead with boldness because He was committed to pursuing God’s will and way above all else. God’s Word shaped His life and leadership perspective, and God’s Spirit sustained Him when challenges arose. His awareness of who He was and whose He was filled Him with assurance and confidence in every aspect of His ministry. This is the distinguishing characteristic between arrogance and boldness.

And they were all amazed at the greatness of God. While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus did, he said to his disciples, “Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.”—Luke 9:43-44

Prayer: Jesus, we want to lead like You, committed to pursuing God’s will so that God is glorified in all we do. Strengthen us with Your Word and Your Spirit. We pray in Your name, amen.
