Galatians 5:22-23

Mighty Servants of God. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)

Leading Like Jesus emphasizes two kinds of habits – habits of being and habits of doing. Each is important. Practicing the being habits supports ongoing personal transformation, keeping our hearts humble before God and open to His Spirit’s leading. These spiritual disciplines shape our leadership motivation, point-of-view, and the way we deal with others. As a result, the Spirit increasingly shapes our reactions and responses so that we find ourselves more naturally reflecting Jesus’ leadership style.

Pray: God, shape us from the inside out as we meditate on Your Word. Let our actions flow from the presence of Your Spirit within us. Strengthen us so that when the pressure mounts we will more naturally reflect Jesus. Amen.
