Matthew 7:12

Mighty Servants of God. “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12

The Golden Rule calls us to do to treat others the way we want them to treat us. In essence, it calls us to living a life centered on understanding, forgiving, encouraging, and supporting others. Each of these characteristics describes the way God relates to us and the way Jesus related to His disciples. Jesus says this same grace-based, action-oriented leadership is to characterize us as His disciples. We are to lead from grace, relating to others with the same grace that God has shown us.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for leading the way in grace-based leadership, showering Your grace upon us when we least deserve it.. When we meet leadership challenges today, let Your words prompt us to lead like You do. Reproduce this same mindset and lifestyle within us as we pray in Your name today, amen.
