1 John 2:24-25

Mighty Servants of God. “As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us—eternal life.” 1 John 2:24-25

Leading like Jesus lead does not guarantee that the journey will be easy or that the outcomes will always be the ones for which we hope. On days when the struggles seem to outweigh the benefits, it’s a good idea to go back to the beginning. Remember Jesus’ journey as a servant leader; remember how He called you; remember His presence with you today. How do these things strengthen you to continue leading in His name?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for reminding me that You are the beginning from which my whole life flows. Thank You for calling me back to relationship with You as the basis for facing this day. Help me lead from the core of my relationship with You. Amen.
