Hebrews 5:7

Mighty Servants of God. Jesus came into the real world, a world filled with real people who have real problems. Some days we are the ones calling others to live up to the high calling we have in Jesus, and some days we are the ones who need to hear and respond to Jesus’s call. Even as we extend grace and encouragement to others, we need it for ourselves. Don’t neglect the habit of allowing God to encourage and strengthen you through Scripture and heartfelt prayer. As we receive God’s hope and encouragement, we will be able to pass it on to others.

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.—Hebrews 5:7

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for coming into our world and teaching us to depend upon the Father in challenging circumstances. Help us to lead like You lead, as we pray in Your name, amen.
