Proverbs 17:17

Mighty Servants of God. Just as we need trustworthy companions in our own journey, others around us need us to be trustworthy companions for them. Children, teenagers, adults—young and old—all of us need to know that there are people who care for us and will stand by us. People whom we can turn to for wisdom. People who will tell us the truth in love when we need to hear it (even if we would rather not hear it). People who will pray for us. People who want the best for us.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. – Proverbs 17:17

Prayer: Lord, make me the kind of person that others want to be around. More importantly, make me that person that they can trust to have their best interests at heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
