Philippians 2:9-11

Mighty Servants of God. What overarching reality guides your life? Scripture tells us that one day every knee will bow to Jesus. This is the ultimate reality toward which all of history flows. Jesus has called us into relationship with Him, into God’s unfolding story in the world. As men and women who follow Jesus and are called to serve in His name, we are caught up in the flow of what God is doing.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.—Philippians 2:9-11

Prayer: God, we bow before Jesus today, and we rise to live and serve as His people. Be glorified in us today, we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
