Colossians 4:2
Mighty Servants of God. Prayer is not only a habit that sustains us as we lead like Jesus; prayer is one of the most important ways that we can influence others. When we pray for those we lead, we are speaking to the One who has the ability to meet them at their point of need. By praying for them, we are inviting God’s influence, His wisdom, strength, and encouragement, into their lives. Who is God prompting you to pray for? Will you join Him in the work He wants to do in shaping them to live, love, and lead like Jesus?
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.—Colossians 4:2
Prayer: Creator God, You who know the hearts and minds of every person. How do You want us to pray for others today? May we hear and respond to Your promptings to pray for them according to Your will. In the name of Jesus, who prays for us, we pray for them, amen.
