Isaiah 6:8

Mighty Servants of God. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

There are times when opportunities to serve are suddenly thrust upon us. We may not feel ready for them; yet God isn’t obligated to ask our permission or opinion about who or how He wants us to serve. He reserves the right to change our situations any time He wants to in order to accomplish His purposes.

Pray: Lord, I want to think that I would quickly and easily say “yes” to You whenever or however You call me to serve. In this quiet moment, I confess that sometimes I place conditions on serving You. Forgive me for the times and places where I resist Your call to serve. Today, I want to say “yes” to Your call. In the name of Jesus, whose response to You was always “yes,” Amen.
