Numbers 9:22-23

Mighty Servants of God. “Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out. At the LORD’s command they encamped, and at the LORD’s command they set out. They obeyed the LORD’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.” Numbers 9:22-23

The Israelites had a visible sign of God’s presence and direction in the cloud that hovered above the tabernacle. The timing and direction of their coming and going was totally up to God. To lead like Jesus, we must stay attuned to God’s presence and leading. How quickly do you respond to God’s direction? Are you ready to stay or go at His command?

Pray: Sovereign Lord, You know the way I should go and when the time is right for me to move in a new direction. You know, too, where I need to hear this in my life. In all my comings and goings, may I bring glory to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
